Once you’re settled into one of our one- or two-bedroom luxury apartments, you’ll surely be wondering what there is to do around town. After all, Business Insider doesn’t name a place #2 for no reason. Well, as somewhat of experts on the area, let us tell you what you’re in for. Do you like food? Hopefully so because Manayunk is a food hub! We have over 29 amazing restaurants in just a few city blocks offering food from around the globe. You could spend years sampling the different menu items from all our restaurants.
Once you’ve found your group of people, you can then invite them over for dinner parties and wine tastings. All apartment units at Terrace Lofts and the Flats on Penich feature thoroughly modern kitchens. They come furnished with refrigerators, microwaves, and ovens, all in stainless-steel. You’ll feel like a chef on Chopped as you prepare meals for your friends and they’ll love watching you from the bar seating around your gorgeous quartz countertops.
Take in the City
Maybe unlike us, you think with more than just your stomach. If that’s the case, not to fret. In Manayunk, it’s easy to get out to the restaurants and take in some of the atmosphere. Philadelphia consistently ranks among some of the prettiest cities in America, and Manayunk is no exception to that standard. When you walk down Main Street, you’ll be reminded of the cities long history as you take in the beauty of Manayunk’s mid-19th century Classical Revival and Late Victorian architectural styles. Despite being located just thirty minutes from the heart of downtown Philadelphia, Manayunk still manages to capture the down-to-earth vibe of a small town without sacrificing its big city appeal.
Once you’re back at your one- or two-bedroom Terrace Loft apartment, that doesn’t mean you have to end your day on the town. From your loft, you can easily step right back out into the atmosphere and get a beautiful bird’s eye view. That’s because all units at the Terrace Lofts came with an outdoor balcony. With a few creative and personal touches, you can make your balcony into a cozy reading corner, a spot to hang out with friends or transform it into a green space.

Escape to the Great Outdoors

Fortunately, Manayunk has plenty of green spaces and is only a short drive from some of the most pristine hiking trails in the state. If you’re only looking for some nature and don’t want to leave town, check out the Manayunk Canal Towpath. Following this trail, you can walk along the Schuylkill River into downtown Philadelphia or to Valley Forge!
If you want something more out of the way, head up to Wissahickon Valley Park for some hiking. In the park, you’ll find over fifty miles of trails that lead to beautiful views, waterfalls, and trickling streams. Whether you’re an urbanite or are looking to get away from it all on the weekends, Manayunk has it all.
Once you get back to town, though, you’ll want to clean up and refresh yourself at home. Back at the Flats on Penich or from your Terrace Loft, you’ll make the most of our top of the line bathrooms.
